2026 Winter ASL Courses

Learn American Sign Language (ASL) in a fun and engaging way!

We offer classes for adults and families at various skill levels, from those just starting out to those with some prior ASL experience. Our classes are designed to help you develop your ASL skills for personal enrichment, communicating with loved ones, or professional growth

Please select the class you wish to register for. Each class has its own schedule, duration, and location. Spots are limited, so register early.

Important Notes:

• Tuition is refundable up until Sunday, January 4, 2026. After that, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable. By registering, you are committing to your course.
• All classes are taught by Deaf instructors to provide an authentic ASL learning experience. ASL interpreters will not be present in the classes.
• *NEW*Family ASL Class: This class is designed for children ages 4–12, with a parent or guardian required to participate. Older siblings and family members may register and attend as well. Anyone 13+ must register as an adult. This class is tailored for young children and families; however any adult may register. Please keep in mind young children will be present and work to keep our space safe.
• In-person classes are held at:
  • Henry Ford Hospital, 6777 West Maple Road, West Bloomfield, MI
  • Henry Ford St. John Hospital, 22151 Moross Road, Detroit, MI
• Online classes are via Zoom. Participants will need a stable internet connection and a webcam. Your zoom link will be sent to you the week your course starts.
• Payments are accepted via debit or credit card only.
• Classes may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. In the event of a cancellation, all registered participants will be notified and fully refunded.

Class Rates and Age Requirements:

• In-person adult courses (ages 16 and up): $100 per person
• In-person family course: $100 per adult (ages 13+); $25 per child (ages 4–12)
• Virtual courses (ages 16 and up): $75 per person
• Henry Ford employees receive 10% off in-person courses (must use HFHS email to register or provide proof of employment)
