Give Hope. Give Support. Give Today.
Every donation helps build a world where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated.
For over three decades, the Holley Institute has been providing life changing support to parents of children who are Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing. Our work began at St. John Hospital in Detroit as we founded the first ever volunteer led infant hearing screening program in the early 1990s as hearing screening for infants were not mandated often leaving newborns and parents with undiagnosed hearing loss and deafness.
As families received earlier diagnoses through our program, we saw another need: a place where they could learn, connect, and grow together. In 1996, The Holley Institute opened Holley Family Village in Brooklyn, Michigan — a 214-acre lakeside campus designed for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing children and their families. Through immersive, language-rich programs and events, families strengthen communication, build relationships, and create lasting memories.
Today, The Holley Institute continues this mission through Family Weeks, ASL Immersion programs, Volunteer Week, and our free Community Health and Literacy Program (CHLP).
Your donation — whether one-time or monthly — helps us continue screening newborns, provide vital programs and services, fund scholarships for families, and expand our work so that every family can experience the power of communication and connection.
Thank you for being part of our Holley Family.
